Rivals for Sure, That Cops vs Racers gameplay puts Heat to shame, Rivals 1000% better than Heat. Heat is better, a lot better map, much better driving, more cars, it has customisation, better racing. The atmosphere is great overall, imo on par with Rivals. Rivals has better cops, but that's all. I regretted buying NFS 2015 almost immediately, terrible cutscenes, phone call after phone call from NPCs, awful effects that won't turn off without mods or file edits, always online nature of the game etc. etc. My question is, how is Heat compared to 2015? Billboards in Need for Speed: Payback are collectible advertisements for Ghost's Smash Cereal that can be found across Fortune Valley. They are highlighted by an icon of a billboard. Nearby billboards will be telegraphed to the player and records its location on the player's map. Driving through a billboard will count it as being collected and represented as a knocked over box of cereal with NFS Payback is the better game, but it's massively hampered by the shitty business practices that do indeed affect ingame progression. The lower reviews all seem to have a bone to pick with this, and the game gets points deducted for this. I'd argue that if it had NFS2015's progression, it'd be an easy 8+/10 game.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth just playing through Payback. It was the one game I skipped - I've played NFS Heat to death and made a whole bunch of cinematics with the game. I quite enjoyed Heat and the extent of the customisation it offered, plus the handling model (after a while).
